FROM THE CHAIR....

What an amazing success Light up the Hills has become in 2 short years, due to the passionate enthusiasm  of a group of individuals, who believed from its inception, that this endeavor would be a success.

Our common goal is to illuminate Halton Hills  with a winter festival of lights. Beginning in December ’08 in Dominion Gardens park in Georgetown, December ’10  will see a newly planted tree illuminated at the Acton Sports Park, uniting our communities with a common theme.

LUTH will continue to illuminate Dominion Gardens in Georgetown as its principal park while moving forward with our expansion plans into each community within Halton Hills.

Our volunteers will be promoting LUTH this fall and doing our major fundraising. As a current or new volunteer, we need your help to enable us to provide such a spectacular event for our communities. This takes a lot of people and a lot of money each year to continue to provide  these light shows and certainly the communities of Halton Hills have been very generous with their donations.

Reserve December 1 again this year  and join us  to enjoy “Ignition” at Dominion Gardens and Acton Sports Park  and see how LUTH has grown.

Looking forward  to seeing and speaking with you around “the hills” as we light them up!
