A Winter Festival in Halton Hills!

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words!

Come out and celebrate the 12th Season of Light Up the Hills!

Bring your friends and family out for a fun evening of entertainment, treats, and lots of community spirit! "Ignition" is held in Georgetown, Acton & Glen Williams on DECEMBER 1ST each year.  All 3 locations offer different entertainment and experiences!

In Georgetown, at Dominion Gardens park, festivities start at 5:30 pm.  This is the largest celebration with entertainment, free hot chocolate, free Hot Dogs, Outdoor Movies, Santa Claus, and new this year a "Selfie Booth."  Large winter displays and trees throughout the park light up at 7:00 pm.

In Acton, all the fun starts at 5:30 as well.  A smaller celebration with great entertainment, free hot chocolate and cookies as well as free hot dogs, plus Santa!

The most intimate and smaller crowd can be found at Glen Williams with singing and free hot chocolate.   Glen Williams celebration starts at 6:30pm.

All locations have a large "Tree of Hope" decorated with thousands of lights .

At 7:00PM all the lights will be turned on! Not only will the trees light up but so will the eyes of children and adults alike - it's truly wonderful! Walk around the park with a hot chocolate and other treats and take in all the spectacular displays. Santa Claus joins us to see the lights go on, too! Join us on December 1 and help us "Light Up The Hills"!

Communities

Light Up the Hills Chair, Gerry Kentner, envisioned a tree covered in sparkling lights to be shared with the whole community. A "Tree of Hope".
